Blogger Business Cards
Just printed 200 business cards for my blog. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! Thanks to Claudia’s recommendation, I printed 200 cards at Tommy Prints for just S$24 – about 17 US dollars – with matte lamination. What a steal!

Why would bloggers need business cards?!
For me, I attend quite a few local social media events not only as a corporate representative, but also as a blogger. However, handing out my corporate card instantly brands me as a corporate representative. So people find it difficult to reconcile between Ivy the blogger and Ivy the corporate communications executive from that telco with the iPhone. And of course, it doesn’t help that my blog’s name is unpronounciable to most. (It’s NAAN-YAH-TAY, people.) So a blogger card is exactly what I need to let people know that I too am a blogger.
As for you? I suggest you read Claudia’s entry on why bloggers should have name cards, ’cause I can’t top that entry.

Those cards look beautiful. The back of the card is very creative. I like how it matches your layout as well.
I don’t usually attend social media/networking events. I wonder if I will manage to give any out though.
Like I said on Twitter, we should hold a small gathering some time for local bloggers to exchange ideas, chit chat and maybe talk about the little project. How’s that coming by the way?

Your card design is adorable! It never occurred to me before but it’s quite handy for a blogger to have a card when participating to a social media event. As for me, I don’t think I will need one yet
since I have an ambivalent attitude for blogging.

I’ve thought about getting business cards for my blog (more like “Hi, I’m a creative person” business than for my blog per se) although I’m rarely at social media gatherings. I’m also slowly in the process of trying turning my current blog into a slightly more “professional” one–that is, with a .com domain. But I love your business cards!

Nice business card you’ve designed, Ivy! I like it that you made sure that it’s in sync with your current blog layout and feel, plus, I love the clever Twitter and Blog URL address integrated in one. Sweet!
Although not necessary, it’s nice that a blogger has a business card to promote him/herself. People like me are really bad at remembering URLs, not to mention Twitter IDs and etc. I would have to bring a notepad along if I go for such gatherings, heheh!
