Any phone with Windows on it is no friend of mine. I would much rather have the Sony or the iPhone lol. Even the Blackberry would be better *nods* I haven’t liked any of the HTC products thus far… none of them have really been able to impress me. I’m such a phone junky myself… every 5 months or so I get a new phone xD I think I have had 4 different ones this past year alone? Lol.

Good choice. Even though I am a fan of SE phones, but the keyboard on the P1 just doesn’t cut it for txting. The keyboard is so similar to the BlackBerry Pearl, I just can’t get used to it.

But not a bad choice in picking HTC. They’re not that bad, just they do need to clean up their confusing menu.

I hope to get a new phone soon, possibly the side kick slide because txting is very important.

Hello Ivy. I’m very late with this comment… I hope you are feeling better now. Is it strange to be back in Singapre or pretty much as you expected?

Enjoy the phone… It looks cool! I’m very boring with phones. I always choose Nokia because I’m too lazy to learn a different interface! The HTC looks quite friendly though.

Both of those phones are cool. I would have chosen the HTC also. Too bad my company doesn’t offer many phones

You’ve just reminded me that I need a new phone badly! My ancient Nokia 6610i has survived many mishandlings and accidents and it’s still working, but recently the keypad started to malfunction from time to time, and only will start working again when a hard tap on the phone reminds it of it’s missing appendages.

It’s sad that the HTC phone doesn’t come with a touchscreen (since the latest HTC models do), but at least the QWERTY keyboard is a breeze of operate, unlike the weird (but inspirational and refreshing) design on Sony Ericsson’s.

One of the biggest weakness (and probably the strengths) of the HTC phone is that it works on Windows Mobile. The bad thing is that it’s slow, inefficient (like all Microsoft products are), but the good thing is that it’s GUI is familiar to Windows users

lol, I am quite the gadget enthusiast too. But I always need to stop myself before I end up spending lots of money on things I don’t need or use too often (though the money to feature ratio might be very good).

But your HTC looks very nice! And free with a two-year contract is a REALLY good price! *envious*

even in the US..they are cell phone obsessed.

it’s not as crazy here in Canada…i think it also has to do with the hiiiigh service fees

I’m not thatttt into cellphones, and I usually use cellphone for very basic functions like calling, text messaging and taking photos. Currently I’m using k770i and I have no problems with it. It’s very slim and light, and the design is very clean and neat, just my type of phone!
