The Name: Nanyate?!

Nanyate, pronounced as “Nan-Yah-Tey” is Kansai-ben (a Japanese dialect) to express surprise, akin to the English “What?!”. The phrase was popularized with the anime Yakitate!! Japan where a comical off-beat Kansai character, Kawachi Kyousuke uses it to express awe and outrage at others’ creativity. I chose this name because I have somehow come to admire Kansai culture for its humor and laid back attitude to life - a stark contrast to someone as serious as I am.
