My boyfriend sent me a Youtube link, and I was sooo wowed!! I never thought a trainee lawyer and a salesman could be so entertaining! Their stage presence is just so amazing!! I heavily, heavily recommend that you watch, if you haven’t already. They’re the runner-ups of Britain’s Got Talent Season 2, Signature!

First Dance - Billie Jean meets Bollywood

Semi-finals - Thriller meets Bollywood

Finals - Michael Jackson meets Indian Janitor

When it comes to Britain’s Got Talent, my personal favourite still lies with little Connie Talbot!

  5. I don’t usually watch Britains got talent, or shows like it, but after seeing these clips maybe I should. The videos are just hilarious, I nearly rolled off my chair laughing so hard.

  12. I saw all of the videos and although I’m impressed with their dancing skills — and their talent — I don’t agree with what the judges had to say about originality.
I mean, how many Michael Jackson dancers haven’t we seen since the early nineties, Omar Bhatti among the first.. BUT they are still Michael Jackson dancers, e.g. copy cats.

Justin Timberlake is one of the few who’ve actually tried to do something different about it, to develop it, and without disregarding its origins (as did Michael himself in his time).

As for scale and impact, see how East-Asian prisons fight inhouse conflicts and do mass control of the populus by, exactly, teaching everyone the MJJ moves. Watching an over-crowded prison with murderers and thieves dance Thriller is really breathtaking. But hardly original, in the sense of the word having to do with origins.
    Still, funny vids:)

As for hiatus: It’s summer. I try not to spend so much time in front of the screen:D
