Go, Go Clinton #2!
Tina Fey of Saturday Night Live explains why America should vote for Billary Clinton… I mean Hilary Clinton. Because bitch is the new black! Puhahaha! This is absolute hilarious. Unfortunately, the fact that Hilary is perceived as a bitch is inevitable. According to the New York Times, women (who want to be) in power are all fraught a dilemma, as:
A woman can be perceived as competent or as likable, but not both.
Jeez, that sucks. Looks like gender inequality runs deep in the human brain. Anyway, here’s a video:

I have not blogged about politics in a long time and I don’t want to get into messy details to alienate the younger readers. But I would just like to voice my support for Hilary Clinton.
Most people in my age group (18-24) are strong supporters for Obama. He’s an amazing guy with lots of charisma and great ideas. He would be a very suitable vessel for change. However, he may prove to be too inexperienced to lead a country full of a debt and internal strife, too inexperienced to tunnel his way through the unpopularity of America today. I believe he would be the ideal candidate for President next term or the term after but for now, America does not need any more screw ups – whether it is as a result of plain stupidity or of inexperience. America needs not only a passion change but the strength, the intelligence, the experience to stabilize the nation and its relationships with other countries. America needs a strong leader, reliable enough to re-gain the trust of the world, strong enough to withstand the attacks from its enemies, shrewd enough to maintain its hegemony over the world.
So what better way than to have two presidents for the price of one? By voting Clinton, you not only get the senator who guided New York through the darkness of September 11 but the famed Golden Boy that turned America into secure nation that enjoyed budget surpluses and an amazing economy – all of which the America of today needs desperately.
Having two for the price of one is unprecedented. It is a blessing, the obvious choice for a consumerist nation like the United States of America. I mean, who goes to Wal-Mart, sees a tub of Ben & Jerry’s labeled ‘Buy 1 Get 1 FREE!’ and walks away without it?

Okay, the last part was a joke and all of it was a one-sided exaggeration. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that Clinton is the best candidate for President because she is experienced, and is married to a man that has done much for the United States and the world. I rest my case.
