But it's an old one, so it's not quite in the same league as what they have now. I wouldn't put HTC on par with the Blackberry, since HTC is mostly touch-based and the Blackberry is a QWERTY phone. The only HTC I could think of that's on par is probably the HTC Hero. Would suggest to wait though if you're thinking of an HTC purchase.
